You are so incredibly courageous to share this. There is not a person among us that has not been guilty of theft..as you've put it..of an item, another person's time, someone's dignity or self-woth, etc. We are ALL guilty, at one time or another, whether we admit it or not. Those who may look on you with self-righteous indignation may want to take a closer look at themselves.gtainleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07273418169101478234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-460054671842058368.post-12183382688797850882010-09-16T14:15:15.539-07:002010-09-16T14:15:15.539-07:00I appreciate the courage it must have taken to sha...I appreciate the courage it must have taken to share this. You made a mistake, but you faced the consequences and are the better for having learned a lesson. This is honorable. Not everyone has the ability to do that. I takes great strength to be able to look squarely at the shame and guilt of your past and wrestle it into the shape of something else, something positive and meaningful. I appreciate this because I have done it myself. The person who commented before was correct; it's time to let go of any residual shame or guilt. You've already paid your debt; holding onto those feelings only keeps you indebted.Sarah Annnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-460054671842058368.post-15992404853504334372010-09-15T16:13:41.521-07:002010-09-15T16:13:41.521-07:00Melanie - I believe that you have learnt the lesso...Melanie - I believe that you have learnt the lesson. While there are no excuses for stealing from someone else albeit it stuff or time, even the courts recognise extenuating circumstances. Lose the guilt that you feel - to be really free. If you drag that into tommorrow, you are responsible for the pain. You outed yourself, and put yourself on the line for everyone to see. THAT took a LOT of GUTS to do! With understanding.....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-460054671842058368.post-63364879171235651612010-09-15T16:08:27.453-07:002010-09-15T16:08:27.453-07:00Another brave post, MelanieAnother brave post, MelanieJo Ashcrofthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12498449344477320495noreply@blogger.com
